Varieties in the Postage Stamps of the UK

Poppy Stamp of November 2006

This First Class stamp was issued in November 2006 in only two forms, in a Smiler or Generic Sheet, or as part of a Miniature Sheet. It was not available as single stamps in the normal way one might expect.

The two stamps differ in that the 1 of 1st at the bottom right is much closer to the bottom of the stamp on the Generic sheet version than on the Miniature Sheet version. In addition the triangle created by the stems of the two left hand poppies diifers significantly between the two versions.
