Six Shillings

Florin or Double Leopard

No values of these rare gold coins of Edward III are available. Only three are known. The only one in private hands was recently auctioned by Spink, fetching 460,000 pounds. This is a world record price for a British coin.

Do not confuse these coins with the florins issued between 1849 and 1970, details of which can be found on the Values of Two Shillings page.

Six & Eight

Noble
Angel
George Noble

No values of these hammered coins are available.
